Frequently asked questions
How is my handicap index calculated?
BirdieLab follows the USGA approach: it takes the best differentials from your most recent rounds (you need at least 3 rounds), averages them, and applies the 0.96 factor. The number of rounds counted scales as you log more.
Why can’t I find my course?
Courses are added by us, so not every course is available yet. If a course you play is missing, email us the course name and city and we’ll work on adding it.
Why does the app ask for location?
Location is used to show courses near you when you start a round. You can deny the permission and still search for courses manually.
Is there an Android version?
Android is in open beta on Google Play. Tap the “Android — Join the Beta” button on our homepage to opt in and install the test build.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email us from the address associated with your account and we’ll remove your account and all associated round data.
